 Carmine is a natural colorant derived from the cochineal insect Dactylopius Coccus Costa which grows on cacti in Central and South America. Nowadays a large part of the cochineal comes from Peru where it grows in nature as well as on plantations due to the ideal climate of the country.

Functions: 
Carmine red can be used for food, medicine and cosmetics coloring, especially mouthwash, toothpaste, powder, ointment, for solid powder dosage form, it should be dissolved in a small amount of concentrated ammonia, and then add To the powder, the long grinding, in order to obtain the best distribution of the best color with aluminum salt or tin salt mordant, silk and wool can be dyed bright red. It can be used as an indicator for pigments and titrant ammonia solutions for foods, cosmetics and the like and used as reagents for microscopic analysis, fluorescence analysis and the like.
Applications:
