Sodium propylparaben, white crystal, easily soluble in alcohol and ether, almost insoluble in water. Broad spectrum antibacterial activity, can inhibit Gram-negative and positive bacteria, and has a strong inhibitory effect on yeast and mold. It is widely used as antiseptic for cosmetics, medicine, food and other industrial products, and also as feed antiseptic.
