L-Histidine Hydrochloride is White crystal or crystalline powder. Odorless. Slightly bitter taste. Melting and decomposition is about 277-288 °C. Soluble in water (4.3g/100ml, 25 °C), is extremely difficult to dissolve in ethanol, insoluble in ether. Very small due to the solubility and other reasons, are commonly used in its hydrochloride.

1. L-Histidine is an extremely important component of amino acid infusion and comprehensive amino acid formulations for the treatment of gastric ulcers, anemia and allergies

2. L-Histidine can be used for prevention and treatment of anemia.
