1. Product Description

Fangfeng is a medicinal and edible herb, which has the functions of delaying senescence, dispelling cold, eliminating dampness and relieving pain. The main components in the extract are chromones, coumarins, volatile oils, polyacetylenes, polysaccharides and other compounds. An acidic polysaccharide that is active on the reticuloendothelial system is isolated and named Saposhnikovan C. It is composed of D-galacturonic acid, L-rhamnose, L-arabino sugar, and D-galactose. It also contains β-sitosterol, β-sitosterol-β-D-glucoside and mannitol. The extraction source is windbreak, a perennial herb, 30-80cm high, and the whole plant is hairless. The rhizome retains most brown dead sheath fibers; the roots are slender, cylindrical, bifurcated, and the skin is yellowish brown. The stem is solitary, with many branches from the base, usually dichotomous. The basal leaves are clustered, the outline of the leaf blade is broad ovate, two to three times pinnately split, the terminal lobes are linear to lanceolate, 2.5-5cm long, 1-2.5cm wide, entire; petiole slightly flattened, 2 long ~7cm, with broad leaf sheath at base.

3) Antibacterial effect. It has antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus aureus, beta-hemolytic streptococcus, pneumococcus, Penicillium chrysogenum, Aspergillus versicolor, etc.
