Medium-chain triglycerides, or medium-chain fat, naturally exist in palm kernel oil, coconut oil, and other foods, and breast milk,and are one of the sources of dietary fat. Medium-chain triglycerides are only composed of saturated fatty acids with low freezing points, liquid at room temperature, and low viscosity.
